Elon Musk's Boring Company is considering building huge tunnels in the Texan cities of Austin and San Antonio, reports say

It wasn't clear what the Austin tunnel route would look like.The company's latest partnership with a Texas municipality would be the construction of a new tunnel. It was established in 2016.In June, the company opened its underground transport system in Las Vegas. Three stops are located along the 1.7-mile loop that runs under the Las Vegas Convention Center. It cost $47 million to construct, according to the company. The Las Vegas City Council approved an expansion of downtown with plans to connect McCarran International Airport.Last month, the company submitted plans to Fort Lauderdale officials for a tunnel that would cost at least $30 Million. Musk's company has been in contact with local officials for many months.Discussions were reported to have been ongoing in San Antonio for at least two weeks.Insider reached out to the company in order to get their comments.Business Insider has the original article.
