It was an entertaining, fast-paced encounter that resulted in a fair outcome.Bournemouth was leading early with the signing of Emiliano Marcondes as a summer player, before Dara O'Shea, Baggies defender, scored a leveller in the first half.After the break Philip Billing restored the Cherries' lead. Callum Robinson, who had previously had a goal disallowed in the first half, scored a second Albion equalizer.Albion's star player of the past two seasons, Matheus Perueira, was finally leaving Albion. An away point meant an especially satisfying conclusion for Ismael.It took 12 minutes to reach the Championship's first goal of the season. Jaidon Anthony connected down the left with Billing, before squarering up to the spot for the penalty. Marcondes was unmarked and found the corner with a low, left-footed shot.The Baggies tied the game on 33 minutes, when Conor Townsend's long toss was headed out by Billing. Billing then crossed back in and O'Shea's down header flew past Mark Travers, the home keeper.Robinson scored the ball four minutes later. Dean Whitestone was able to score the goal.It was a costly mistake when, at 52 minutes, Anthony and Jordan Zemura cut Albion open to the left. Baggies keeper David Button couldn't get clear at his near post, and Billing kept his cool and drilled home a low right sidefoot shot.Albion came back to level the score when substitute Matt Phillips, who had just come on in the 64th, sent a pass down from the inside-left channel towards Alex Mowatt. Robinson was able to meet Mowatt's low cross on the half-volley.Button, who was in the second half as England's goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, is back in training, but was not ready to play. He made excellent saves against Dominic Solanke and David Brooks in the second half.The Cherries were left with no drama.
