Should social media come with a health warning?

This warning was known as the surgeon generals warning and was used for decades in the US. It was meant to remind people that smoking cigarettes is so harmful that even the top doctor of the government was against it. Vivek Murthy is the current surgeon general and has suggested that similar warnings be given to social media misinformation.Murthy spoke in mid-July on CNN and stated that social media networks were a key factor in the spread of misinformation about covid-19.
