After launching earlier this year on other major platforms, Amazon's streaming service IMDb TV now offers a dedicated app for the iPhone, iPad and Android.IMDb TV is a dedicated hub that offers free, ad-supported movies series and originals. You could previously find IMDb TVs content in the main IMDb app. However, a separate streaming app was not available for Android and iOS. According to a spokesperson, the content can still be streamed through IMDb. However, the new IMDb TV app is optimized for streaming.IMDb TV's content selection is excellent, even though its originals have not made as much impact as those from premium services. If you don't mind ads, you can stream a lot of great content for free on IMDb TV, including documentaries and sci-fi titles as well as dramas. There is also plenty of TV to binge watch. The service currently streams Mad Men, How to Train Your Dragon and Schitts Creek.IMDb TV has also announced a deal with Universal to stream certain live-action and animated titles. This will be in addition to a pay-one premier on Peacock and their release in theaters.The app was available previously on most major streaming devices as well as some smart TVs such as Roku, Xbox and Fire TV. You can also access it as a free channel in the Prime Video experience.
