Bill Gates admits meetings with Jeffrey Epstein were a 'huge mistake'

In an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper, Bill Gates stated that spending time with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, was a big mistake. Interviews covered Gates' relationship with Epstein. He claimed it was an attempt at philanthropy. Also, Gates' alleged misbehavior in the workplace at Microsoft and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.Since their meeting, Gates' story about his relationship with Epstein is unchanged. He told The Wall Street Journal in 2019 that he had met Epstein but that he didn't have any business relationships or friendships with him.The Times report, however, states that they met several times and details meetings between employees of Gates Foundation and Epstein that were focused on fundraising. Gates admitted in a CNN interview that Epstein gave credibility to him after Epstein pleaded guilty for soliciting minors. This was he called a mistake again.Gates was asked if he regretted his affair with a Microsoft employee. This was an inquiry by the Microsoft board. Gates replied that while everyone has regrets, he needed to move forward with his work.Melinda French Gates objected to Bill meeting Epstein, according to reports. Bill and Melinda will continue working together to manage their charity, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. However, the foundation announced that Melinda could quit after two years, if they can't work together.
