However, they announced that they would speed up their work this week after Letitia James, New York State Attorney General, released a bombshell report detailing 11 women's allegations against Cuomo, including former and current employees. All three district attorneys in Manhattan, Westchester, and Albany County have launched criminal investigations against the governor. He has not acknowledged the allegations and has not shown any signs of slowing down.What to WatchThe full New York State Assembly will vote on the articles of impeachment if the Assembly Judiciary Committee recommends that impeachment be initiated. According to the Associated Press, a majority of members of the state Assembly support initiating impeachment proceedings. If the articles of impeachment get approved by the majority of the state Assembly, then a trial will be held in the state Senate. The High Court of Impeachment will decide the fate of the governors. This cohort must also include the 63 senators of the state. A two-thirds majority of combined bodies must vote for conviction.
