Slowly, the airline industry is beginning to healThe Lufthansa First Class Terminal Frankfurt has been reopened as of September 1, 2021. This special lounge was closed at the start of the pandemic. Lufthansa gradually reopened its premium lounges. The First Class Lounge Frankfurt was reopened on June 1st, and the First Class Lounge Munich on July 1.Lufthansa's First Class Terminal is the best first-class ground experience. I consider it the second best lounge after the Air France La Premiere Lounge Paris.Customers who have never been to First Class Terminal can now pull up directly to it and bypass the main terminal. After passing a security check, you will be able to enjoy lounge amenities such as a la carte dining and nap rooms. There are also private offices that can be used. Passengers are then driven by their car to their plane when it is time to board.Frankfurt Airport Lufthansa First Class TerminalReopening the First Class Terminal means that Lufthansas ground transfer services will resume. These services have not been offered from any other lounge locations.Lufthansa's first-class ground transfers are my favorite!Lufthansa first-class and SWISS first-class passengers can access the First Class Terminal. Given Lufthansa's reduced first-class network and the fact that most HON Circle members travel for business, I imagine the lounge will be quieter than ever when it reopens.Duck enthusiasts should expect some limited edition ducks to be available in conjunction with the opening of the First Class Terminal. It is unknown what type of ducks will be available. If you don't know what I am talking about, Lufthansa has rubber Ducks that are kept near First Class Lounge bathtubs. Many travelers have made it a habit to collect these ducks, which Lufthansa has embraced with great enthusiasm. We've seen many limited editions over the years, so it's been great to see what Lufthansa has come up with.It's hard to not love collecting Lufthansa first-class ducks! You will love it!Bottom lineAs of September 1, 2021, the Lufthansa First Class Terminal Frankfurt will reopen. Given the time that the lounge has been closed, this is a great development. This lounge should be open for business in the next months.
