Apple TV+ Shares First-Look at Comedy Series 'Mr. Corman' Ahead of August 6 Debut

Apple TV+ released today a "first glance" featurette about "Mr. Corman", a dark comedy series that was created, directed, and starred Joseph Gordon Levitt.Play"Mr. Corman" is a story about Josh Corman, played by Gordon-Levitt. He's an artist by heart but not by trade. He teaches fifth grade in a public school in San Fernando Valley, despite not being able to pursue a career in music. Megan, his ex-fianc, has moved on and Victor, his high school friend, has moved in. Although he knows there are many things to be grateful for, he struggles with anxiety, loneliness and low self-confidence.This three-minute video features the cast and crew discussing the show. It also includes behind-the scenes footage that gives viewers an insight into Gordon-Levitt’s creative production process.Apple released a press release about the show, saying that it was "darkly funny, strangely beautiful, and deeply felt"The 10-episode debut season's first episode will air on August 6. A weekly episode will be released every Friday.
