Asus releases Windows 11-ready BIOS updates with automatic TPM support

Asus has made a variety of its motherboards available for Windows 11. The BIOS updates have been released by Asus for a range of motherboards. They include those that support Intel Kaby Lake processors starting in 2017. These BIOS updates support both Intel and AMD chipsets.TPM is the minimum requirement for Windows 11. It was a change that created some confusion when many people realized their computers didn't have this option enabled in the BIOS or were confusedly called PTT or PSPFTM in BIOS settings. Microsoft's Windows 11 upgrade tool didn't help with the confusion. It is encouraging to see large manufacturers such as Asus enabling TPM automatically so that people don't have to search around.Asus plans to support a broad range of motherboards with Windows 11. However, not all BIOS updates are yet available. Neowin has compiled a complete list of compatible Asus motherboards for Windows 11. You will need to verify if your system is up-to-date.If you bought a pre-built computer and aren't sure what the motherboard is, you can find it by going to Start > Run > MSINFO32 in Windows 10.Asus is not the only one that supports Windows 11 motherboards. Gigabyte and Asrock have released lists of compatible systems that work with Windows 11. Windows 10 users will receive Windows 11 as a free upgrade. However, it is not yet clear when Windows 11 will become available. Microsoft has not officially announced this holiday but the software manufacturer keeps hinting at an October release date.
