The player can then be granted a fourth year option by the team at a 26.2 per cent increase in his third-year salary.Teams can offer up to 120 per cent of the allotted amount under the collective bargaining agreement. Feigen reported that Green will receive $9 million his first year, which is the maximum allowed.Green made $500,000 last season while playing for the NBA G League IIgnite team. Green was the first Ignite player to sign. Now, he will have the opportunity to demonstrate how the Ignite developmental team prepares prospects for the NBA.In 15 regular-season games last year, Fresno's native Californian averaged 17.9 points and 4.1 rebounds, as well as 2.8 assists. He scored 30 points and had seven assists, five boards, and scored 30 in a playoff match.Houston continues to rebuild its infrastructure after the departure of Russell Westbrook and James Harden.
