Cockpit Video: Worst Boeing 737 Landing Ever?!

What the hell is this? It's all happening!Amazing approach by a Boeing 737 to BhutanThe Aviation Herald reported that cockpit video footage was released of a flight on July 12, 2021 from Kolkata (India) to Paro (Bhm). Tri-MG Intra Asia Airlines operated the flight with a Boeing 737-300 registered under the registration code PK-YGW. The plane, which was 23 years old, was in a cargo configuration and allegedly carried vaccines to Bhutan. All kinds of alarms were triggered in the cockpit as Paro approached runway 33. The crew continued their approach and touched down. Here's a video showing how the landing went.frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen>Amazingly, the plane did not sustain any damage. That is a testament to the strength of planes. It spent only 16 hours on Paro's ground before moving on to Bangkok. This is also why I am unsure if this may be the worst Boeing 737 landing. I know there have been 737s that crash, but it wouldn't be considered a landing.Since then, this plane has been flying around Asia. Tri-MG Intra Asia Airlines, an Indonesia-based cargo airline, operates just 10 planes. What's the deal?Wow, I was shocked to see this video. I thought it was a fake footage of me playing Microsoft Flight Simulator when I was really drunk. This is not a fake.Paro, while not the easiest airport to land at, is considered one of the most difficult. Go arounds can be complicated. I thought that the pilots who land here received special training. But, something tells me this wasn't true. This approach, no matter how difficult the airport may be to operate to is still a superior one. Here are some observations, thoughts and questions. The four stripes on the pilot sitting in the right seat signify that he is a captain even though he is in the first officer seat.He suddenly has a phone in his hands the moment he lands on the plane. It is obvious that there was a pilot in the jumpseat filming the footage. This would indicate that one of the pilots was on some kind of a check ride (which would make sense if there was a captain in right seat). Or, what was the purpose of this? The mixed signals of the pilot are what I love most. He first says "Be careful" and then he goes on to say "Good, good, great, and please come more."Although this seems like an instabile approach, the pilots land.Pilots will often claim that any landing you can walk away with is a good one. However, I don't think this is what they meant.Bottom lineCockpit video footage of a cargo Boeing 737s landing at Paro, Bhutan, a few months ago, has been released. Although we don't always know what is happening in the cockpit as passengers, I can imagine (hope?) that it would be. This level of recklessness isn't something that's common. Are there any pilots who would like to comment on this video?(Featured image courtesy Paul Spijkers
