Spirit Airlines cancelled half its flights Wednesday in an attempt to "reboot" its operations following a series of disruptions that began over the weekend. This is a decrease of 12% from Tuesday's 12%.Spirit claimed it would learn from this meltdown.It released a statement saying that it had taken a deep look at the problems and identified improvement opportunities that would help them operate a more resilient network, better serve their guests and make their lives easier.Spirit was unable to calibrate on Wednesday due to thunderstorms. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, Spirit's main base at Fort Lauderdale, Florida was delayed by taxi and gate delays for over an hour.
