Jaxson Hayes Arrest Video Shows NBA'er Tased, Cops Launch Excessive Force Investigation

He is tussling with three police officers as they attempt to control Jaxson. One of the officers presses his Taser against Jaxson's chest, shocks him and then the other.Backup arrives eventually and the video is turned off when the man who recorded it is approached by police.Hayes was taken into custody at 3:00 AM. He was then treated at a local hospital with minor injuries suffered during the altercation. Hayes was charged with resisting arrest... and posted $25K bail.Los Angeles Police Chief Michael Moore announced Tuesday that the department has launched an investigation into Hayes' arrest. He claimed force was used to his neck, causing Hayes difficulty breathing.It is important to remember that the video we got starts with Jaxson lying on the ground and the Taser against his back. Cops claim Hayes started and escalated this physical confrontation.Police say that Hayes tried to enter the house despite being directed by officers, but he was stopped by them. He then shoved an officer and injured him."Body worn video captures Hayes repeatedly trying to enter theresidence, despite officers blocking him from his path and verbal commands to him to stay outside,'' police stated in a statement."Officers asked for a backup, and they tried to place Hayes’ hands behind his back. However, Hayes managed to break free from the officers' grip and push one of them into a wall.
