Apple launches big redesign of its online store

Apple Store went down for about an hour Tuesday, but has now returned to normal with a new look and a tab dedicated to Apple's top-level navigation. The store's top page has images and links to many Apple product lines, including the iPhone, Mac, AirPods, and AirPods. You can also find links to dedicated Store pages that provide information such as accessories and shopping guides. There are sections for whats New, support pages and other information on the main Store page.It is filled with cards and it feels a lot like Apple's Store app for iOS. It is mobile-first with horizontal scrolling between cards on the phone. This doesn't translate well to desktop. The site displays arrows that you might need to tap.We can confirm that there are no new products. This update seems to be purely a cosmetic change for Apple's online store. The pages to purchase a product don't appear to have changed from before. The store's redesign comes ahead of what is expected to be an Apple busy fall. Apple has been rumored as working on the iPhone 13, AirPods and new MacBook Pros. All could launch in the near future. No matter what Apple announces, there is now a new store to showcase them.
