Apple has today unveiled two new games, which will be exclusive to its subscription-based gaming platform Apple Arcade.The new titles are listed as "MasterChef: Let's Cook" by Tilting Point, and "Layton's Mystery Journey+", which is available at Level-5. At this point, no release date has been set for either title."MasterChef: Let’s Cook" is a brand new game that challenges players to create and serve delicious food in a fast-paced competition inspired by the TV series. Apple's new game "MasterChef: Let's Cook" will challenge players to show off their culinary skills and be matched up with other players from around the globe.Weekly in-app events will be added to the game, based on certain themes and seasons like Gourmet Burger Show or Spooky Show.Apple Arcade subscribers will now be able to play "Layton's Mystery Journey", an already-existing game in the App Store. As Katrielle Layton becomes embroiled in a quest to find her father, Professor Hershel Leyton, players will be with her in London. Kat's bike-based adventure will take players to London's most famous landmarks, including the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge.Nickelodeon's SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit has received an Apple Arcade update with a new competitive daily mode within Plankton’s Chum Bucket laboratory.Apple Arcade is $4.99/month or $49.99/year and provides access to around 200 games across all platforms, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Mac and Apple TV. Additional titles are added regularly.
