The New York Giants' first day at padded practice at training camp abruptly ended Tuesday. Coach Joe Judge angrily dealt with his players and punished them for a teamwide brawl, which included Daniel Jones, the starting quarterback.
Judge could be heard hurling expletive-laden insults at his team following the scuffle. It began when tight end Evan Engram retaliated to Corey Clement's late hit.
Judge gave his fiery address after ordering the players to perform 100-yard wind sprints.
Jones claimed he was not injured in the fight, and that the Giants had to do a better job controlling their emotions during intense padded practice.
Jones said that Judge sent the message to the players and when asked why Jones got involved in the brawl, Jones replied that he was "part of the team."
