Sources tell ESPN that Harry Kane was absent from Tottenham's second day of preseason but will report back to the club's training grounds before the end.
After a long break, the 28-year old was due to arrive at Hotspur Way Monday. However, he failed to show up as he attempts to make a move from the club.

Manchester City is the top-ranked contender for his signature, with Chelsea and Manchester United also watching the situation. Spurs aren't interested in parting with their prized asset of around 150 million.
Kane believes that he has a gentleman’s agreement to leave Tottenham this Summer, creating a standoff which has been exacerbated when he decided not to return to the original plan.
The situation is not the same for Spurs and Kane. Kane believes his plans were communicated by the club, according to sources. However, Spurs believe they are disappointed in his actions.
Although no decision has been made, sources tell ESPN that Spurs could take internal disciplinary action against Kane. This could lead to a fine up to one or two weeks' wages.

Kane is still on his 200,000-a week contract, but he wants to leave Tottenham to pursue silverware. Kane is one of the Premier League’s best strikers with 166 goals in 245 matches. However, he has yet to win a trophy for country or club.
City wants to sign Kane, but they have yet to offer a package to make Spurs chairman Daniel Levy change his stance.
Kane was scheduled to report on Monday for routine blood work and COVID-19 testing. Training will resume on Tuesday. Kane is expected to return this weekend after being on vacation in the Bahamas.
This week, Tottenham continues its preseason preparations with a trip to Chelsea on Wednesday and a north London derby against Arsenal Sunday.
