Harry Kane set for Tottenham return by end of the week - sources

Sources tell ESPN that Harry Kane was absent from Tottenham's second day of preseason but will report back to the club's training grounds before the end. Spurs aren't interested in parting with their prized asset of around 150 million. Kane believes that he has a gentleman’s agreement to leave Tottenham this Summer, creating a standoff which has been exacerbated when he decided not to return to the original plan. The situation is not the same for Spurs and Kane. Kane believes his plans were communicated by the club, according to sources. However, Spurs believe they are disappointed in his actions. Although no decision has been made, sources tell ESPN that Spurs could take internal disciplinary action against Kane. This could lead to a fine up to one or two weeks' wages.
