The wife of Haiti's assassinated president said she used her dead husband's tie as a tourniquet after the attack

She had to use her dead husband’s tie as a tourniquet.Jovenel Moze was assassinated at his home on July 7. Martine Mose was wounded in the arm, and is now in critical condition.CNN reported that she said it was the maid who found her in their bedroom following the attack, and not security staff.She claimed that she asked her maid for one of her husbands ties to be brought to her so that she could use it as tourniquet.The New York Times previously reported that she had once told her children to hide inside a bathroom. They were able to escape the attack.Martine Mose, CNN's interviewer, asked Martine how the attackers got to the couple. "The guards wouldn’t leave without an instruction." She suggested that they might have been given an order to leave."I have been thinking about this a lot."Haiti has taken several Colombians and Haitians into custody for the attack. Mose stated that authorities must find out who ordered and paid to carry out the attack."Someone placed the order and paid the money. These are the people we are looking for.
