Health and wellness apps maker Palta raises $100M Series B led by VNV Global ' TechCrunch

Palta, a startup that offers health and wellness apps, has raised $100m in a Series A round. Per Brillioth, VNV Global, led the round. Target Global was also involved. The cash will be used for new products such as Flo.Health and Zing Fitness Coach.Palta claims that they have 2.4M paid subscribers active in their app.Palta Brain founder and CEO Yuri Gurski said that the Palta Brain platform is the foundational powerhouse behind our consumer digital apps. It allows us to scale up both the products we envision internally as well as the ones that are brought to us by the market.Per Brillioth CEO of VNV Global, stated that mobile and preventative services are the future for the health sector. Palta's ability to scale and develop its extensive range of mobile subscription products has been proven by this.The company is headquartered in London and has offices in Munich, Vilnius and Warsaw. It claims that most of its revenue comes primarily from customers in the US (60%) or Western Europe (20%).
