Mike Conley, All-Star Guard, has signed a $72.5 million three-year contract to remain with the Utah Jazz. His agents Jess Holtz and Steve Heumann from CAA Basketball informed ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.Conley made his first All-Star debut last season. It was his 14th appearance in the NBA. Conley thrived during his second season with the Jazz. Conley averaged 16.2 points per game and 6.0 assists per match, with a career-best of.552 effective fields goal percentage for the team that posted the league's highest record during the regular season.Conley, 33, has had his two seasons in Utah hampered by hamstring issues. Conley missed both seasons because of hamstring strains. Conley also had to miss the Western Conference semifinals. The Jazz lost the series to the Clippers in six.Conley spent his first twelve seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies, after he was selected with the fourth overall selection in the 2007 draft. Conley's $153 million, five-year deal with Memphis in 2016 was briefly the most expensive contract in NBA history.Conley was a key figure in the Grizzlies' "Grit 'n Grind era," when he joined Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph to form the group called the "Core Four." They made Memphis a perennial playoff contender, culminating in a trip to Western Conference finals 2013.Conley's No. 1 was retired by the Memphis owner Robert Pera shortly after the rebuilding Grizzlies.
