Lollapalooza took place in Chicago this weekend, drawing an estimated 100,000 people to Grant Park each day for the four-day music festival. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the festival to be cancelled last year. This year, revelers were treated to sets by Megan Thee Stallion, Miley Cyrus and Post Malone. Following outrage over the rapper's recent anti-gay statements, organizers cancelled a DaBaby appearance.Despite the fact that there were more cases of the Delta variant, the festival continued. The festival organizers required that all attendees wear masks in indoor spaces. All guests were required to present proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 screening to gain entry to the festival. On Thursday, 600 people were turned out for not having any of these documents. These photos show the huge turnout at Lollapalooza. It was the largest public gathering in America since the outbreak of the pandemic.
