August 2, 2021 3 minutes readAfter exposing the verbal harassment she suffered at work by a Kalamazoo, Michigan manager, a former Wendys employee has gone viral.Sophia Cargill uploaded a TikTok video of Michael, her manager, criticizing her for her job. It has been viewed almost 25,000 times.The video shows Cargill being followed by his manager who starts shouting about the cleanliness of the place.The manager shouts at her when [I] say clean.He responds by saying that she caught him on camera, and she tells him it's the end of the road.Cargill is so disrespectful, he yells at the camera.Related: Metal Band Takes over Wendy's Drive-Thru with Bizarre PerformanceMichael continues the banter, before Michael begins to shout back that Cargill doesn't have permission to record him on camera. Cargill responds that it is a public space and restaurant and therefore she has the right.Michael has been screaming at the camera for five minutes straight. Michael is power-tripping.Michael can be heard calling the employees f *****g lazy in the background and saying that they have done f *****g little since the restaurant closed.Cargill revealed in a follow up video that she had been suspended from Wendys after filming her manager. She also shared that Michael was not fired or suspended and that her employer had told her she might not get paid during the suspension.The video is currently trending on Twitter and Instagram. Many are calling for Wendys' to make a statement or step in.A Wendy's spokesperson stated that they have zero tolerance for harassment at work. We immediately acted following our protocols to suspend the individuals involved in an investigation.Cargill started a GoFundMe to get compensation. It has raised more than $12,000.The page states that I am traumatized and is the reason why I'm unsure if Wendys will accept me back.
