The first season of Amazons new, expensive television adaptation wrapped filming in New Zealand on Monday. To celebrate, the company announced the show would debut on September 2, 2022. Perhaps Valinor, or more precisely Valinors city in Valmar. It is likely that the Trees of Valinor and Telperion are visible far away. Lightice commented on io9 that this is Tirion, the city in the Undying Lands. It is possible the Trees of Valinor, Telperion, and Laurelin are visible in the background.We do know that the show will take place thousands of years prior to the events in J.R.R. Tolkiens The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings book. However, the contents of this image suggest that we may see the show at least a little earlier. This show is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, which started out quite peacefully but ended up being anything but. It sets the stage for all of the stories that we have come to know thanks to Peter Jacksons movies.The journey will begin September 2, 2022, with the premier of the original The Lord of the Rings series, according to Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios.
