New York Gov. Cuomo asks private businesses to require Covid vaccination for admission

He said that data shows that fully vaccinated people are less likely to contract the virus, infect themselves with it, or get severe illness.He said to reporters that he was asking them to suggest to them to go to vaccine-only admission. It is in your best interests.Public health officials and experts in infectious diseases fear that Covid cases could continue to rise during the fall season. This is when Americans return indoors and employers start to hire workers.Some businesses ask their customers and employees to provide proof of vaccination to stop the spread of the virus. Disney announced Friday that all hourly salaried employees, union or not, in the United States must be fully vaccinated against Covid before September 31st.Cuomo stated Monday that Radio City Music Hall had done this "months ago". This mandate gives transportation workers the choice of getting vaccinated before Labor Day or having weekly coronavirus testing. This mandate is similar in nature to an order Cuomo issued last week for state hospital workers to address the surge of delta variant.
