Poll: Are you still interested in the Galaxy Watch 4 with Wear OS 3 making its way to other smartwatches?

Wear OS 3 was stuck in limbo for some time. Only the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 has confirmed that the update will be available. Google now confirms that other smartwatches (current and upcoming) will be updated. Our readers preferred the Galaxy Watch 4 when we last asked them about Wear OS watches. We now want to find out if the latest Wear OS update has made any changes. The Galaxy Watch 4 is the only smartwatch to have Wear OS 3, at least not officially. Rumours of a Google Pixel Watch are common, but they are not confirmed. Fitbit also stated that it will launch a WearOS device, but it is not known when.Fossil was a little more open about its plans. Fossil makes some of the most popular Android smartwatches. However, it appears that none of these will be updated to the latest version. The company will instead launch the Gen 6 devices later in the year, hinting that they are premium models. They may not be equipped with the latest update at launch. Google indicated that partners would "roll out the system upgrade starting in the second half of 2022."Smartwatches such as the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 GPS are also eligible for the update. Even though it sounds far, Mobvoi's smartwatches running the Snapdragon Wear 4100 are very responsive and will likely experience more battery life and performance with the update. It is not clear why Wear OS 3 will take so long to be integrated on other smartwatches. Despite the fact that the update is more customizable, Samsung may have enough room to make adjustments to its smartwatch while still giving other OEMs the time they need. It doesn't matter what case it may be, you don't necessarily have to wait for the Wear OS 3 update to get a new smartwatch.
