Telegram Messenger received major updates to its video capabilities. This includes support for video calls up to 1,000 viewers.Telegram allows up to 30 people to stream video from their camera. Currently, a maximum of 1000 people can view the broadcast. Telegram claims it will continue to increase this limit until all people on Earth can join a single group call.Video messages are now at a higher resolution. Any audio on the device of the user will continue to play when the message is being recorded so it can be included in the recording.Users can tap on video messages to expand them in the conversation thread. Tapping on an expanded video message pauses it. It's also possible fast-forward or rewind it.This update also includes screen sharing, multiple video playback speeds and new tools for illustrating photos and videos with text, drawings and stickers.Telegram also added a few other small tweaks and improvements to the latest update.
