This is despite the fact that Texas has seen an increase in cases.The order prohibits government agencies from requiring employees to have a mask or provide vaccine documentation. Private businesses are also prohibited from mandating customers with vaccine passports or masks. If they violate the order, private entities that receive state funding could lose their funding and face fines up to $1,000.The Delta variant has spread to Texas, and Texas has seen an increase in cases.
