Epic Games teased the largest in-game event since Travis Scott psychoedelically stomped through Fortnite's virtual meadows.Epic Games' Fortnite will host the Rift Tour. Players can now jump into Fortnite to see new Rift Tour-themed quests, rewards and events. The cotton-candy-colored event includes a customized loading screen, a fluffy cloud cat emoticon, and other digital prizes.The Rift tour is not a one-and done event. Fortnite will host five shows over three days, just like Travis Scott's event. Epic has more information to share Monday August 2nd, so Fortnite players will need to wait to see if Epic gives more details or an announcement about who's performing.Who is performing? All indications point to Ariana Grande. For more than a week, Leakers have been saying the same thing. The Epics court battle against Apple documents also revealed plans for in-game events featuring Grande and Lady Gaga.Forbes' Paul Tassi connected the dots about how recent leaks point towards Grande, with some visual themes taken from her music videos as well as a reference to her pet Pig Piggy Smalls.Epic calls its virtual event "tour", which suggests Grande will not be the only one, if she is indeed the mystery star. Epic had planned for Lady Gaga to perform at a concert in December 2020, but that didn't happen. Kanye West will also release his latest album on August 6. However, it is less likely that Epic would partner with West due to his recent controversy. Donda, West's latest album was originally set for a different date, but it was delayed.It doesn't matter who it is, you will likely find out more Monday.
