The final score was 132-7.London Spirit is fifth, and Trent Rockets sixth on the eight-team table. At 18:30 BST, the same two teams will meet in the men’s competition."Today was see, hit ball"Priest was the late replacement for Trent Rockets. Their first Australian players had pulled out of the tournament. It is fair to say that she didn't make it to the party in the first two games.Priest, who had retired from New Zealand duty thirteen months ago, stated that she is a "notoriously slower starter" at franchise tournaments and that with scores of two and four, this was her first introduction. Before hitting three early fours, she was greeted by a brutal spell of opening batting that saw South Africa's all-rounder Chloe Tryon enter the fray.A leg-side full-toss was kicked over the square-leg boundary. Another was smacked mid-wicket. Finally, a beautiful steer through point was achieved.Heather Knight was followed by more, before Tammy Beaumont dropped 44 on Danielle Gibson. Gibson was diving forward at deep middle-wicket.Spirit was run out by the drop, and Priest continued her assault. She hit cleanly through the leg side to edge towards the first century. Beaumont caught Priest for the second highest score in the women’s competition.Priest said, "It was really great to get some runs." "I was a little scrambled in my first two games. Today was all about seeing ball and hitting ball."Rachel Priest opted for the leg side and scored 52 runs of her total 76 runs there."What we call a sitter"The margin of victory for the Rockets could have been larger if they had taken advantage of a few of the opportunities presented to them.Lucy Higham dropped Knight at deep square-leg on 10, and it was a chance that should've been taken.Nine balls later, a bigger opportunity was missed. Deandra Dottin was dropped at point by Abi freeborn.Chris Green, the Middlesex-all-rounder speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra, said the chance was "what we call a sitter".These two drops, along with Beaumont's earlier, were low points. But Rockets slowly improved. Kathryn Bryce was able to catch good diving catches at fine leg, deep square leg, respectively to displace Deepti Sharma, and Tryon. Are Spirit utilising Gibson properly?Danielle Gibson's strike rate in The Hundred is 207.48Danielle Gibson is a star for London Spirit thus far in this tournament. She came in at nine, and she hit two boundaries with her first two balls to win against Birmingham Phoenix.Sunday saw her come in at seven, hitting 30 balls off only 13 in a losing effort against Oval Invincibles. Here, she was dropped to eight and hit 18 from 12 balls to set a tournament record of 56 runs with 27 balls. Her strike rate is 207.48.Is she hitting too low?
