Gutekunst spoke this morning after completing a trade to acquire Cobb. "Obviously, without Aaron I don't believe we would likely be pursuing that. Randall is still a very good player. I was reminded by Randall's performance last night of the impact he will have on our locker room as well as our football team."But Aaron considered this a very important task, so that's why it was done."Rodgers expressed his desire to have more control over who stays and who goes during Wednesday's 32-minute newsconference. After the 2018 season, Cobb was granted free agency by the Packers.Rodgers stated Wednesday that she does not want to be part of conversations that could affect her ability to do her job.Cobb and Rodgers are close friends, and Rodgers seems to be comfortable with Cobb on the field.
