Another customer of NutriBullet claims that the machine almost turned her into a smoothie man when it exploded... and caused serious injuries to her body.Folana Jackson filed legal docs claiming that she had only used a NutriBullet 900 blender 1 minute before it went haywire... resulting in gnarly wounds that required surgery and Oxycodone to relieve her pain.Jackson claims she was making a juice in May 2020. The documents were obtained by TMZ. She claims friction and heat caused by the spinning blades led to a buildup of pressure in the canister.According to her, things turned sour when the blender started making strange noises. She turned it off and placed her hands on the bottom of the canister. The blade allegedly broke off and the motor base exploded.According to the suit the still-spinning blades struck Jackson's left arm causing deep and severe lacerations. It got worse when her juice splashed onto Jackson's breasts, neck, and arms... causing severe burn injuries.Jackson claims that she was treated at the ER. Jackson states she had to have surgery on her pinky and left pinky fingers to fix lacerations and tear ligaments. Both of these are now restricted mobility and suffer constant nerve pain.Jackson claims that NutriBullet knew about the defective blenders for many years and that they have been responsible for more than 100 injuries and lacerations since 2014. We know Jackson is not the only one to sue NutriBullet for such horrific injuries.
