Tesla has added another streaming service to its car's infotainment system. You can now stream Disney+ during your charging time as part of the latest software update. Tesla Theater Mode already has Netflix, Disney-owned Hulu and YouTube. It still needs HBO Max, Peacock, and Paramount+ to be a true video hub. In a Reddit post, a Tesla owner shared screenshots from the "2021.24" update. This update includes many additional features. The new "Car Wash Mode", which secures your vehicle during a thorough clean, is another highlight. It can shut down or turn off all the lights and functions, including the park sensor chimes and sentry mode. The mode can change the free roll option to neutral for car washes that use conveyor belts. This will prevent your car from auto-braking when you leave.A new dashcam autosave automatically saves clips when the vehicle detects an event such as a collision or deployment of airbags. Tesla made the feature opt-in to avoid any privacy issues. Clips will be saved locally and not shared with Tesla. The new features include auto-dimming mirrors, more battery information, stay connected to WiFi in the drive, and language support for Hungarian, Romanian, and Russian. The quality of life enhancements are intended to satisfy Tesla owners long after they have spent thousands on their EV.
