Disney's domestic theme parks will require all parkgoers to wear masks indoors starting Friday

In response to new guidance from government and health officials, Disney has modified its U.S.-based parks' mask policy.All guests will be required to cover their faces in indoor areas at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida or Disneyland Resort in California, starting Friday. This mandate is not applicable to children under two years of age.This policy change is coming as Covid cases continue rising in the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended on Wednesday that fully vaccinated individuals wear masks indoors in areas with high Covid transmission rates. These states include Florida and California.Since the outbreak, Disney has revised its safety policies to comply with international and domestic health regulations. The company has been requiring proof that a Covid vaccine or negative Covid test was obtained before allowing entry to its Paris-based theme park. This is in accordance with French guidelines.
