Simone Biles won't be defending her Tokyo Games gold medal in all-around at the Tokyo Games. The Olympic superstar has pulled out of the competition in order to keep her mental health in mind.Biles, 24, withdrew from Tuesday's team finals. She was subject to further medical evaluation. USA Gymnastics stated in a statement that it was decided it was best for her to sit out Thursday's finals.Biles was considered the favorite to win the event... which would have earned her the 5th gold medal in her career.Biles' Olympic run may not be over, but there is still a chance that she will compete in the individual events next weekend. However, the team said it all depends upon her daily evaluations.USAG stated that they support Simone's decision to prioritize her well-being and fully endorse her actions. "Her courage is yet another reason she is an example to so many."Biles dominated the Rio Games 2016 competition... with a score of 62.366 and teammate Aly Raisman scoring silver with a 60.607.
