According to 9to5Google and WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a way to allow users to transfer their chat history from iOS to Android. This feature could address one of the most frustrating issues with Facebook's messaging service. It is not possible to transfer your messages from iPhone to Android. Only between phones that have the same operating system. WhatsApp's software has been showing details of this feature since April.WABetaInfo shared screen shots that show the new Move chats from Android option in WhatsApp's iOS app. The second screenshot shows the screen prompting users not to lock their iPhones with WhatsApp open while the transfer takes place. This is similar to Apple's Move to iOS app. According to XDA Developers, code in Google's app could integrate with WhatsApp's unreleased transfer utility.WhatsApp beta-testing multi-device support. This will allow users to access their conversations on multiple devices without having to route them all through one phone. WABetaInfo reported that WhatsApp is working on a way to transfer chat history between platforms. These features are not yet widely available.
