For Barack Obama, she was the U.S. ambassador in Uruguay.On Tuesday, the president announced that he would nominate four additional people for ambassador positions. They include Mark Gitenstein (ex-ambassador to the United States to Romania), as a representative to European Union and Patricia Mahoney (currently serving as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Benin), as ambassador to Central African Republic.
