Apple's Wearables, Home and Accessories Category Sets New June Quarter Revenue Record of $8.8 Billion

Apple's Wearables, Home and Accessories categories saw strong growth in the third quarter of 2021, Tim Cook, Apple CEO, stated today during today's earnings conference.The category earned $8.8 billion in revenue, up 36 percent from the $6.5 billion it earned in the previous quarter. Cook claims that the category established a new record for June quarter revenue.Wearables, Home and Accessories include the Apple Watch, AirPods Pro and Max, HomePod, Beats headphones and more. AirTags falls under this category. Cook stated that AirTags has received a strong response.Nearly 75% of Apple Watch customers who bought an Apple Watch in the quarter were brand new to Apple Watch. Apple Watch is a major driver of wearables revenues.
