All the horror movie references in Netflix's 'Fear Street' trilogy

Leigh Janiak's Fear Street Trilogy may have been inspired by R.L. Although Fear Street is based on R.L. Stine's beloved horror books for teens, it also makes references to classic horror movies. Netflix even opened its very own '90s pop up video store to promote the series.The three-part Netflix series Part 1: 1994; Part 2: 1978 and Part 3:1666 make subtle and overt nods at iconic horror films such as Scream, Friday the 13th and The Shining.Netflix highlights these references in the video.
