Adrien Brody bleeds in the trailer for Stephen King's Chapelwaite

Stephen King's guy is hot right now, with his Its, The Geralds Games, and Doctor Sleeps. The CBS All-Access exclusive The Stand is not to be missed. Many studios and networks continue to adapt the best-selling author's work. Even Epix is joining the fun.AdvertisementChapelwaite is an adaptation of Kings' Jerusalems Lot short story. It stars Adrien Brody as an unnamed man who has one of the most severe cases of worms that we have ever seen. Although the trailer doesn't provide much information about the plot, it shows Adrien Brody inheriting a haunted home and suffering from one of the most severe cases of worms (and we have seen plenty), the trailer does show the horror. Vampires, a monster child, a man in a top-hat riding a horse, beautiful sets and a whole lot of worms are all included. Here's the plot summary:The Chapelwaite is set in 1850s and follows Captain Charles Boone (Brody), as he moves his three children and their families to Preachers Corners in Maine, after his wife died at sea. Charles will have to face the dark secrets of his family's past and work to end the curse that has haunted the Boones for many generations. Hampshire portrays Rebecca Morgan, a young woman who fled Preachers Corners in order to study at Mount Holyoke College. She has since returned home with an award to write a story about Atlantic Magazine. Boone comes to town with his children and her writers block is lifted. Rebecca, despite her mother's protests, applies to become the governess at the Chapelwaite manor, as well as the Boone family, in order to write about them. Rebecca will be able to not only write the next great Gothic novel but also unravel a mystery that has haunted her family for years.Chapelwaite will premiere on Epix, August 22, 2021.
