Bloomberg reports that Oculus owner Facebook might soon allow its Oculus virtual-reality headsets to send workout data to Apple Health, according to Bloomberg.Oculus iPhone App has code that allows workouts with the Oculus headset, to be recorded in Health as other workout data. The Oculus app will be able report on health metrics such as exercise minutes and calories burned.Apps from third parties have been able to offer workout and fitness data for a long time. This data is gathered in the Health app via the HealthKit API.Bloomberg points out that the code is not a guarantee that the feature will be launched.
