Netflix has not yet brought back NBCs Manifest, indicating that the company has moved beyond the days of constantly resurrecting beloved broadcast shows that fans feel were canceled too soon. However, one surviving show from that era is still waiting and getting ready to do its final season after having done a few more seasons. Lucifer was a Fox series that ran for a few seasons before being canceled by Netflix. Netflix then picked it up for five more seasons. Last year, Netflix brought Lucifer back for its final season, officially ending the story of everyone's beloved handsome, charming nightclub owner/LAPD advisor who is also the devil.AdvertisementNetflix announced that Lucifer's final season will air on September 10th. This is in contrast to the season 6A, which will have the finale coming later. A teaser was also released by Netflix. It shows all the demon faces, wings, kissing, and people dressed in nice clothes you would expect from Lucifer. The video ends with Tom Ellis being pulled over by police and taking a sip from his flask. He then explains that it is his last day in Los Angelesand that he is, you know what, the devil. He is not subject to safe driving laws. It doesn't appear in the teaser, and it won't ever again. However, this show technically belongs to The CWs Arrowverse. Or at least it is located in a specific corner of The Arrowverses multiverse. Tom Ellis popped up during The CWs Crisis On Infinite Earths as Lucifer. It might not have been the same guy.
