She was then taken onto the gangway by deputies, where she remained until the plane taxied again.Nola was told by Patrick Maney, another passenger on the plane.He continued: "Two heavily-armed police arrived and told the lady that she should get out. They told her to get up, but she refused. They pulled her up, and she was screaming as they put some restraints behind her back.According to Captain Jason Rivarde of Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office spokesperson, the passenger was taken into custody at 10 AM CST.According to the outlet officials claimed that the passenger was ticketed four misdemeanors including disturbing the peace and remaining in a place where it is prohibited, resisting arrest, simple assault, and leaving the premises after being barred.American Airlines stated to Insider that Flight 1768, which was flying from New Orleans (MSY), to Dallas/Fort Worth(DFW), was delayed because of a disturbance in the cabin caused by a customer who failed to comply with federal face mask requirements.
