TikTok seems to be testing a Cameo competitor, which allows users to request and pay custom videos from their favourite creators.Users can use the "Shoutouts" in-app currency to request a video. This currency can also be used to tip creators during live video. Creators can set their own rates for custom videos.This feature is not available in all markets. Currently, the feature is only available to creators in Turkey and Dubai. Users in certain regions are not able to request a video through the app.A screen will appear explaining how it works when you click "request". When you request a video, you pay upfront and the creator has 3 days to accept your request. The video will be delivered to your direct messages within a week.
