Portugal, 9-10 September 2021: Wine Tourism and Rural Development Strategies to Support Recovery
The dates for the 5th UNWTO Global Conference on Wine Tourism are announced by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Visit Portugal, and the City of Reguengos de Monsaraz
The Conference, which will be held in Reguengos de Monsaraz, Alentejo, to follow the success of its previous four editions, will be co-located with the Government of Portugal.
The Conference, which will be held under the title Wine Tourism as a Driver for Rural Development in a hybrid format in order to welcome delegates worldwide, will examine the role of wine tourism in social and economic regional integration and the potential for development opportunities in rural areas.

Zurab Pololikashvili, UNWTO Secretary General, says: It's more important than ever that wine tourism be supported.
