LEBANON/CUBA The 40th anniversary of Phoenicia Group was celebrated in grand style by 2,000 business partners, aficionados, and friends from 64 different countries. This was the 40th anniversary of the company's long-standing partnership and support for Habanos, Cuban cigar manufacturer. Two new regional Habanos line editions, the Quai Orsay Baalbeck, and the Ramon Allones Phoenicio 40 were launched at the virtual anniversary celebration. A special luxury humidor series was also introduced.This innovative event included both virtual and physical elements. The evening featured interviews with Phoenicia Chairman Mohamed Zeidan, founder and chairman of Phoenicia, and other senior Habanos figures. It also included videos of the cigar launches. It is an expression one of the most sought-after Habanos lines, Quai DOrsay. For the first time, the Duke size cigar is made with tobacco that has been aged for three years in boxes of 50. Initial plans were to produce 60,000 sticks. However, due to high demand in Lebanon, the amount was increased to 120,000 sticks and 2,400 boxes.To commemorate the anniversary, the Ramon Allones Phoenicio40 Anniversario edition was made in honor of the long-standing partnership between Habanos SA & Phoenicia. The limited-edition cigars are aged for three years and rolled in Habanos Partagas factory with carefully selected leaves to ensure premium quality.The cigars come in 20,000 boxes (10 cigars), 10,000 boxes (20 cigars) and 440 limited edition humidors (see details).Five exclusive Ramon Allones humidor lines were also revealed, called The Merchants and the Seas. They were designed by Jean-Philippe Martin and made by Elie Bleu. This is the same team who created the Cohiba 40th and fiftyth anniversary releases. This collection contains the Mediterranean, Phoenicians and Volute lines. Each humidor has 100 numbers and 40 Ramon Allones Phoenicia-40 cigars per humidor.
