Brynn Anderson/Associated PressAccording to Shams Charania of Stadium, and The Athletic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks forward is doubtful for Game 1 in the NBA Finals due to hyperextension of his left leg.This news follows Mike Budenholzer, Bucks coach, telling reporters during Finals Media Day that Antetokounmpo was making "good progress" in advance of Game 1.The injury occurred in Game 4 against the Atlanta Hawks, and the 26-year old suffered it. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Zach Lowe, an MRI showed that Antetokounmpo had healthy ligaments and no structural damage in his left knee.Antetokounmpo, 6'11" and 242 lbs, missed Game 4, and all six games of Eastern Conference Finals. The Bucks won the series 4-2.Antetokounmpo was the winner of the 2018-19 and 2019-20 NBA MVP Awards. He averaged 28.1 points and 11.0 rebounds per game and 5.9 assists for the Bucks. Antetokounmpo also received his fifth All-Star recognition, his fifth All-NBA honor, and his fourth NBA All-Defensive team recognition.The Bucks chose to place Bobby Portis in their starting lineup against the Hawks for Games 5-6.Portis, 26, a 6-foot-10, 250-pound forward, averaged 17.0 ppg and 8.5 rebounds during those matchups. Without Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton or Jrue Holiday were asked to carry an offensive load that was greater.The Bucks are now aiming to win their first NBA Finals series in 21 years, but the Phoenix Suns will not be denied. Game 1 of the NBA Finals will be played Tuesday at 9:05 p.m. ET in Phoenix
