Does The Bachelorette always have to have a villain?

Photo by Craig Sjodin/ABCThis episode, after all of the drama from this season, was a bit disappointing. You can also see the production team working behind the scenes. I felt like Katie was telling Katie, "Look, everyone else has to go home." Hunter must be kept. How could she not have given him a rose when he beat out Michael A. Right?AdvertisementIn reality, I'd rather talk about Greg and Michael A. having the best chemistry in this episode. It was refreshing to see men crying together on TV, in support of one another, as an antidote for the toxic masculinity that is often displayed on this show. There are so many great guys in the top 12, eight of whom have received individual roses by Katie. I believe that at least a few of them could be serious contenders. I was in agreement with her decisions this week, and still wonder why Brendan is still there. The vast majority of the remaining contestants are an outstanding crop. The purest of hearts, father and widower Michael A., urged his fellow contestants not only to enjoy every moment on the show but throughout their lives. Greg was already impressed by Michael A's unfailing positivity, but he lost it. Greg is the best moment of my life.Blake is a similar choice to me, though it is difficult to forget about the Madagascar lions and the beard. Although he is a wildlife expert, it's hard to not like him. However, starting off with "The only reason I am here is because of Katie" isn't going to win any guys over. As Michael A. wisely points, that's the only reason they are there. Blake's one-on-one session seemed like a gut punch to the other men, but I believe she is making the right choices. Their chemistry was quite cute on that date. (Katie Thurston tweeted that the episode featured a lot kissing. Anyone else noticed that the music became super-triumphant after Blake received the rose? It was so evident that I wondered if this was a sign that he would be around for a while.Andrew S. would be a great Bachelor producer, but Katie had less chemistry than Katie. He is a very sweet guy, and they clearly have a lot of common interests. However, he was nervous on the date. If he wants to be a part of a future with his girlfriend, he would need to overcome that.G/O Media could be eligible for a World of Warcraft 60 Day Time Card at Eneba. Use the promo code: 20210704In truth, Andrew S. would still be a front-runner alongside Greg, Connor B. and Michael A., and yes Blake. Hunter is the only person I wouldn't list, despite his delusional thoughts in this episode. Hunter is not the person I would list, despite his delusional thoughts this episode. However, it is not the best way to win someones love. If that is what the intention is, then Katie should be able to have a conversation with these other guys. Hunter clearly wants to be an alpha male, as evident by his cutting off Aaron's toast at the last. However, Katie is as smart as she is and will see the benefit sooner rather than later.Stray observationsAaron is with me, but I didn't know who the two men were.Katie was open and honest about her experience with sexual assault. It was brave of Katie to speak out about it again. Blakes questions bugs are the real reason Blakes is so interested in Katie being sex-positive. Are most of us sex positive?Kaitlyn got to finally speak with Katie about Nick's joining her mid-season on The Bachelorette.Blake was not there for the rose ceremony. He did however appear in time to toast the couple. The stylists had a lot of fun with Katie this week. For her date with Andrew S., she wore a red leather dress and a Catwoman-like suit.Hunter is not my favorite, but Aaron calling Hunter a circus person was too cruel.Given how well this season has been, the promo for the remainder of the season was quite startling. There were many tears, but not the good Greg/Michael A. kind. Another surprise guest (judging by the height it looked like Matt James), and Greg and Katie storming out. Michael A.'s child actually said, I guess Daddy doesnt like to see me? As we get closer to the end of the season, it seems like the Bachelorette powers must keep the drama going. We'll see you next week!
