Norwegian's traffic figures for June are still heavily affected by travel restrictions and low demand.As more markets open up and relax restrictions, forward bookings continue to increase and so does demand for the low-cost carrier.The number of flights and aircraft will increase gradually in July.Norwegian flew 225,509 passengers in June, an increase of approximately 100 percent over the same period last year.Comparatively to June 2020, the total capacity has increased by 182 percent and passenger traffic (revenues per kilometre) has increased by 102 percent.ADVERTISEMENTJune's load factor was 63%, which is 25 percentage points less than last year.The impact of reduced flight schedules and travel restrictions on government agencies still shows up in June traffic numbers.We have also seen an increase in bookings month-on-month as countries relax restrictions.We have therefore resumed flights to key European destinations.
