At this point, it is much easier to win one game.To avoid the Canadiens' first sweep in the championship series for more than 20 years, the Canadiens will be proud to do so. In the six years that have passed, only one Stanley Cup Final lasted more than five games. Montreal should be cautious about another poor home start. In Game 3, Tampa Bay scored twice within the first four minutes. One of those goals was scored on the power play.In all three games, the Habs have lost the first period. They trailed at the first intermission of Games 1 and 3, and were tied for 20 minutes in Game 2. The team committed three penalties in Game 2, but they were still slow. But Tampa Bay managed only 23 shots during that contest.Montreal has a chance to win the series if it can maintain its defensive performance in Game 2, and bring that same level of play into Game 4, while taking fewer penalties. If this is the case, the Canadiens will be able to keep the game close and cover the puck line. While it might not be easy to win with Bolts goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy on top form, a strong defensive performance would give the Canadiens at least a fighting chance.Brayden Point to Score (+155).Brayden has not scored since Game 7, when he ended his nine-game streak of goals against the New York Islanders. He has not scored in any of the three Stanley Cup Final games, with only three assists in Game 2.Point should find the back of his net again. He should be one of Tampa Bay's focal points. With three goals and two assists Nikita Kucherov has made his way to the starring role, but the Lightning must spread the wealth to score more chances.Point did not record a goal in just under 17 minutes of ice-time in Game 3. In Game 2, they had one shot on target.Point had five goals on target and two assists against the Dallas Stars when the Lightning had the chance to win the 2020 Stanley Cup Final. He had six shots in that series, which was his most.Point will be more aggressive at the net Monday and could end a rare four-game streak of scoreless games.Hockey Reference has statistics. You can reach crisis counseling and referral services by calling 1-800-GAMBLER (1 800 426-2537).Gambling problems? 1-800-GAMBLER (NJ/WV/PA), 1-800-9–WITH-IT(IN), 1-800-522-4700, 1-800-BETS OFF?
