Mike Budenholzer Jokes Gregg Popovich's Finals Advice Was 'Figure It out on Your Own'

AP Photo/Aaron GashMike Budenholzer, Milwaukee Bucks' head coach, reached the NBA Finals five more times as an assistant to Gregg Popovich's San Antonio Spurs team from 1996 through 2013.As Budenholzer embarks on his first ever NBA Finals appearance, Popovich will be an excellent source of information.According to USA Today's Mark Medina, Budenholzer shared the following information with reporters Monday:Popovich coached Budenholzer to four NBA championships. From 2013 to 2018, he was the Atlanta Hawks' head coach before assuming his current position in the 2018-19 season.The 51-year old led the 2014-15 Hawks as well as the 2018-19 Bucks to the Eastern Conference Finals. However, this year Budenholzer will be the team's head coach for the first time.Game 1 in the best-of-7 series will be played on Tuesday, at 9 p.m. ET at Phoenix Suns Arena.
